From 16461a16ebda38e398f4ca605eb9e77be81a72ea Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jack Nagel Date: Wed, 4 Sep 2013 16:15:20 -0500 Subject: Add libftdi0 As it turns out, *nothing* in Homebrew that depends on libftdi is compatible with libftdi 1.0. avrdude doesn't even have a configure option for it, but will attempt to link with it if libusb is also present. lcdproc has a configure option, but instead of erroring out if it's not found, it just silently compiles without it. Rather than revert and wait (possibly forever) for these things to be updated to the new library, I'm just adding the older version. It installs alongside libftdi 1.0 without any conflicts. --- Library/Formula/libftdi0.rb | 17 +++++++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 17 insertions(+) create mode 100644 Library/Formula/libftdi0.rb (limited to 'Library/Formula') diff --git a/Library/Formula/libftdi0.rb b/Library/Formula/libftdi0.rb new file mode 100644 index 000000000..edee3715f --- /dev/null +++ b/Library/Formula/libftdi0.rb @@ -0,0 +1,17 @@ +require 'formula' + +class Libftdi0 < Formula + homepage 'http://www.intra2net.com/en/developer/libftdi' + url "http://www.intra2net.com/en/developer/libftdi/download/libftdi-0.20.tar.gz" + sha1 '4bc6ce70c98a170ada303fbd00b8428d8a2c1aa2' + + depends_on 'libusb-compat' + + def install + mkdir 'libftdi-build' do + system "../configure", "--prefix=#{prefix}" + system "make" + system "make install" + end + end +end -- cgit v1.2.3
