The OSGeo sources include a patch that allows Jasper to compute UUID bounding
boxes---a feature that is required for accessing certain georeferenced images.
The Debian packages for Jasper also include this patch.

brewkit.rb changes ENV destructively, so lets not do that everytime a formula
is required. Now it's possible for other tools to require a formula
description without worrying about side-effects.

The JasPer Project is an open-source initiative to provide a free software-based
reference implementation of the codec specified in the JPEG-2000 Part-1 standard
(i.e., ISO/IEC 15444-1).
